Il boss della Formula 1, Bernie Ecclestone si dice disposto a vendere le sue quote della squadra di calcio del Queens Park Rangers, a un passo dalla promozione in Premier League.
Ecclestone, insieme con l'ex boss della Renault Flavio Briatore, ha acquistato il club per 14 milioni di sterline nel 2007 e nel 2010 ha acquistato la quota di maggioranza con il 62%. Secondo il quotidiano "The Guardian" Ecclestone venderebbe a un prezzo di 100 milioni di sterline.
"Acquistare oggi il Qpr a questo prezzo sarebbe un ottimo affare", ha detto Ecclestone. Perché ciò avvenga, come ha confermato lo stesso Ecclestone, serve il parere favorevole di Briatore, nonostante l'italiano gli abbia venduto la sua partecipazione del 62% nel dicembre dello scorso anno.
